World Peace Conference
Building a Culture of Peace is a working World Peace Conference that will bring
together 500 guests of Santa Fe hotels, local, national and international global
peace leaders on May 16 and 17 for inquiry and strategic thinking to address
the question: "What would it take to transform the current culture of violence
in our societies to a true culture of peace?"
Guest speakers include prominent world peace leaders who will address topics
including human rights, nonviolence and compassion. Participants will also take
active part in structured Peace Council discussion sessions. Participants will
be encouraged to lift up best practices, share information and resources, generate
new ideas, build alliances and explore strategic action steps.
The input from the conference will be collected and made globally available online.
