Santa Fe Winter Indian Market
The famous Santa Fe Indian Market now has a wonderful Winter Showcase just in time for the holidays. The Santa Fe Indian Market Winter Showcase will take place at the Scottish Rite Center (known casually as the “pink building”), located just a few blocks from Sage Inn Hotel. The three-day event starts with a special preview evening on Friday, November 23rd, 5 – 8PM. A $75 admission fee allows one the first chance to purchase from and mingle with the artists while enjoying a festive atmosphere, complete with appetizers and beverages. The Saturday and Sunday fees are $5 per person. Santa Fe Indian Market offers a rare opportunity to meet the artists and learn about contemporary Indian arts and culture.
Santa Fe Indian Market is the finest Indian art event in the world. The Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA) is the organizer of the market, it serves as an advocate for Native American arts and cultures. SWAIA creates economic and cultural opportunities for Native American artists by producing and promoting the Santa Fe Indian Market and Winter Showcase, cultivating excellence and innovation across traditional and non-traditional art forms, and developing programs and events that support, promote, and honor Native artists year-round.
