Dale Ball Trails
Dale Ball Trails have quick access from Santa Fe and are perfect or hiking, running and mountain biking. The area is broken up into three sections: central, north and south. Each trail is about 5-7 miles long. The trails are well maintained and marked with signs at every trail junction. Most of the riding is on tight single track with a few sections of wide double track and dirt roads. Guests of Sage Inn can enjoy one of the best trail systems and a great workout while in Santa Fe with just a short 15 minute drive!
Trail Directions:
Dale Ball Central there are two access points: one at the North trail head on NM 475 at Sierra del Norte and the other near the intersection of Cerro Gordo and Upper Canyon Road. Dale Ball North from downtown Santa Fe drive toward the Ski Basin on Hyde Park Road (NM 475). Look for the trailhead parking lot on the left (north). Dale Ball South Upper follow Canyon Road, just past the Cerro Gordo trailhead. Take a right up a steep dirt road. There is a single track that takes off to the left about 100 feet up the road.
