Institute of American Arts Museum
The Institute of American Arts Museum (IAIA) is located just off the Santa Fe Plaza, a short walk from the Sage Inn.
For more than three decades, the exhibits at the IAIA Museum have been dedicated to the creative pursuits of contemporary Native artists. Most significantly, it is the only Museum in the United States that is devoted solely to the exhibition of contemporary American Indian art forms.
The Museum delivers on-going and changing exhibits that feature a diverse range of artists from leading figures in contemporary Native art to the promising talent of IAIA students. The core of IAIA Museum’s exhibition format is drawn from the Museum’s collections, current student work and Alumni. In addition, the Museum also hosts major traveling exhibitions of Native American art.
